1998 – Shortly after my brother’s and my seventh birthday, they came for us. Guardians from St. Vladimir’s Academy. Somehow, they’d caught wind about us, found out what we were. Probably because even as kids, my brother and I got ourselves into the worst of fights with kids from surrounding neighborhoods who bullied us and made snide little remarks about our parents having abandoned us. Hey, they deserved it remember. Anyway, there were two of them. One of them was the former head guardian at St. Vlad’s. I remember him specifically because he was the one who came to me, while my brother and the other guardian chatted. He was kind to me, even though I remember him being the most intimidating thing I’d ever seen. Even I was scared shitless of him. He told me there was a whole other world separate from the human one I used to know, one that I was meant to be in, that I was born for. That was all he had to tell me before I was ready to leave. I wanted to be there with whoever was like me. I’d always known I was different.
2006 – Our fifteenth birthday was a huge event. Where we’d always had a big party at the orphanage, the party we had at the campus was even bigger. Not the best thing in the world, though.. I was never a fan of huge parties. I’d dance, I’d sing, I’d play games, but I did not want a huge party. Fortunately for me, we decided big parties weren’t the best idea and just had a small gathering in later years between me, Kaleb, Nicholai, Trent, Tyler, Evan and my other closest friends. Nothing big. This was the year that I’d been waiting for forever. I was finally in high school – or St. Vlad’s version of it – and I was ready to prove myself as a worthy guardian. And I did. My grades were good. I kept my nose out of trouble and no one bothered me. My brother and I were the best fighter team in the school. We always had each others backs, though while our skills as a team in the ring were great, we weren’t nearly as good on our own. Nicholai and I had grown closer by this time, we were best friends, and I genuinely loved him as a brother.
2009 – Graduation. On August 23rd, I was given the greatest honor. I was made a full guardian. My promise mark was tattooed onto the back of my neck that day, and I wore it with pride. At this point, the strigoi had formed their alliance, coming up with a plan to try and eradicate the moroi. Like their plan always was from the beginning. They just never had the drive or means to do it before. Before Alexander Ivashkov turned strigoi and decided to lead them. That was when everything started to go to shit.
2011 – My brother was a campus guardian with me, before he took a job to protect a couple moroi in Alaska with a few Alchemists, one of them being Evan’s sister Sara. The two of them were in love, though they’d never had a relationship at that point. We’d turned 20 and my brother was just shipped off to Alaska, with me there to say goodbye to him before he left. It was later that year that I got the call. My brother had gone missing. He’d turned strigoi. My whole world began to fall apart.
2012 – This was the year my brother came back to Missoula. He was still strigoi, and I’d seen him a couple times.. He was different than I remembered. Cruel, ruthless. No humanity whatsoever. And at that point I’d also found out that Sara – Evan’s sister – had been turned too. At the time I was friends with a spirit user who turned my brother back. Saved him. At this point I was also dating Evan.
Now – Evander Kozma and I are now engaged, my brothers back… But the worlds gone to shit around us. The moroi are thinned to a small herd of maybe a couple thousand. What was once a huge, proud race has now been weeded down to the thin edges of existence. Most of them fight alongside the guardians now, like they need to to survive. And the others? They’re in hiding. Alexander Ivashkov is waiting to make his big move and when he does, I’ll be there to end him.[/ul]

mother|| unknown[/b] – My story starts here. The year that my twin brother and I were born (on December 27. We wouldn’t know if we hadn’t been at the hospital at the time, but the nurse who found us abandoned in our hospital cribs had looked us up in their databases and found out who we were. However, for some reason, our parents names weren’t listed. She was a kind nurse, a mother by nature even though she couldn’t take us home. Her name was Susan Sharpe, a human, and we took her name later on. We lived with her for a time. She owned this little apartment in Toronto, Ontario where we were born, but she knew she couldn’t keep us. She was never at home, couldn’t afford child care. So after she made certain we were going to be okay, she took us – very regretfully – to one of two orphanages in Toronto. This was where we lived for the majority of our childhood, raised by the nicest people on the planet.
